SYMPTOMS

When linking your program, the linker reports the following diagnostic:

WARNING L2: REFERENCE MADE TO UNRESOLVED EXTERNAL

CAUSE

The specified unresolved external symbol is referenced at the specified code address.

RESOLUTION

The function referenced either was misspelled or non-existant in the input modlues to the linker. Correct the spelling or include the object and relink.
