Is there any way to prevent the number of bytes for a data record from being an odd number in the generated Hex file? Our Flash memory is configured to use word mode which prevents us from writing one byte to it.
Convert your Hex file to binary and back to a Hex file using our HEX2BIN and BIN2HEX programs. BIN2HEX always generates a hex file with an even number of data bytes in each record. You can obtain the programs by clicking on the links below. Run them without any arguments in DOS to see all the options.
