QUESTION

Does the Keil C Compiler for the 8051 support 64-bit double floating-point operations?

ANSWER

No. The Keil compiler does not support 64-bit floating-point math. You may use the double data type, but operations are performed using 32 bits.

Micro Digital has taken over distribution of the US Software GoFast floating-point library that does support 64-bit operations.
