QUESTION

Is it possible to specify the order in which the OBJ files that make up my program are linked together?

ANSWER

Yes. OBJ files are linked in the order in which they are specified on the linker command line. If you use uVision or uVision2, the OBJ files are linked in the order in which they are specified in your project file.

To link library files in a particular order, you must manually specify the segments from the library in the order you want them to be linked. For example:

BL51 myfile.obj, mylib.lib(mymodule1, mymodule2)
