I receive the following linker error message whenever I use any of the Triscend chips in uVision2.

FATAL ERROR L228: RAMSIZE OUT OF RANGE

It appears that uVision2 sets the RAMSIZE as 8192 bytes. This is incorrect. Is this a known problem?

Yes. This is a known problem in uVision V2.04. The device database entries for the Triscend chips were set with the wrong ramsize in the UV2.

Download and install C51 version 6.05 or later.

You may download the latest updates from the Keil Website.

Then open your project and reselect the Triscend Chip for your target and build the project.
