What's new in RTX166 version 4?
The Version 4 release of RTX166 adds support for the following Infineon microcontroller derivatives:
In order to incorporate support for the new derivatives in RTX166, it was necessary to change the setup file (RTXSETUP.H) and the configuration file (RTXCONF.C66). These changes have the following effects:
The RTX166 API has not changed so old and new versions are source compatible. To make use of the new version of RTX166 with an existing (legacy) application do the following:
RTX166 is now being release in both binary form (as precompiled libraries) and in source form. The precompiled libraries were built using the Keil C166 v4.01g tool chain. All miscellaneous tools (project files, templates, and so on) required by the library build process are included in the source distribution.
This release does not include support for the RTX51 compatibility, RTX Hooks, or status monitor modules in binary (precompiled) form. However, these source modules are included as unsupported add-ons in the RTX distribution.
