QUESTION

Why does C51 V6.01 include C51 V5.50a?

ANSWER

Numberous customers have created applications that depend on the functionality of C51 V5.50a. They are not yet in a position to upgrade all of their developers to V6.01. Sending then V5.50a and V6.01 lets the customer plan ahead for upgrading.

We recommend that if you are continuing previous development or if you work on an existing application, use c51 V5.50a.

If you are starting work on a NEW project use C51 V6.01.
