4.16.2. Thumb CBZ and CBNZ instructions

If a CBZ or CBNZ instruction does not branch then it is traced as a waypoint instruction that failed its condition code test. CBZ and CBNZ are direct branches and do not require a branch address packet output when the condition matches, unless the BranchBroadcast bit, bit [8], of the Main Control Register is set to 1. Although the CBZ or CBNZ instruction makes the required comparison, NE or E, with zero, the instruction does not update the CPSR flags.
