RealView ICE and RealView Trace
ARM documentation set for RealView ICE (RVI) run control unit and RealView Trace (RVT) trace data capture unit, which also covers RealView Trace 2 (RVT2), Remote Device Debug Interface (RDDI), CoreSight advanced on-chip debug and trace technology including Serial Wire Debug (SWD), and support for the GNU Debugger (GDB).
RealView ICE and RealView Trace covers the following hardware units:
- RealView ICE run control unit enables the debugger in RealView Development Suite to connect and control real silicon (or hardware emulations of real silicon).
- RealView Trace 2 data capture unit enables data streaming directly to RealView Profiler to perform real-time hardware platform profiling, and the capture of trace data using the debugger in RealView Development Suite.
- RealView Trace data capture unit enables the capture of trace data using the debugger in RealView Development Suite.

Using this set
To browse this set, use the
Contents frame
on the left:

- click on a topic to view it, and also to expand it so you can see the topics or documents it contains
- click on the

Viewing SVG graphics
All line drawings use the SVG format. This enables you to zoom in on the graphic without losing any quality. To view these graphics, your browser must support the SVG format. If your browser does not have native support, you must install an appropriate plugin such as the Adobe SVG Viewer.
