How do I link to the latest version of a document?

You can create a link that will always resolve to the latest version of a document by replacing the minor revision letter for the document plugin with a "-" in the URL.

For example, for URL:

• http://infocenter.arm.com/help/topic/com.arm.doc.ddi0337g/index.html

change the minor revision letter "g" to "-":

• http://infocenter.arm.com/help/topic/com.arm.doc.ddi0337-/index.html

If you are linking to a translated document, replace the revision letter but leave the language code as is.

For example:

• http://infocenter.arm.com/help/topic/com.arm.doc.dui0204-j/index.html

links to the latest Japanese version of the RVCT Assembler Guide.

In addition, if an existing document version is removed and replaced with a later version, the Infocenter automatically redirects links to the next available version.
